COVID-19 Updated Hours & Information

We hope everyone has been staying healthy and safe, and enjoying some sun and warmer weather!!!

Genoa Animal Hospital hours are:

Mondays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Tuesdays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesdays 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Thursdays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Fridays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturdays 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Curbside service will continue, please call the hospital when you arrive in our parking lot.

We are open for all routine and medical appointments and surgeries.

We also ask our clients bringing their pets to their appointments to wear a mask or other suitable face covering, per state guidelines, when one of our technicians approaches your vehicle. Our staff will continue wearing their masks.

We are currently allowing our clients into the building for the exam portion of their appointments. We ask that you call us when you are in the parking lot to let us know you are here. A technician will call you back when an exam room is ready, will meet you at our front door and escort you into an exam room.

If you are not feeling well, have any flu-like symptoms, or you or your pet have been exposed to a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, please let us know prior to your appointment.

Dr. Joseph Seneczko

Dr. Seneczko's Bio

Dr. Seneczko received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1985. He has been in clinical practice since then focusing on small animal medicine and surgery. He owned an emergency practice in St. Charles for several years before founding Genoa Animal Hospital in 1993. His special interests include dentistry and oral surgery as well as Cruciate and Patellar luxation repairs.

Dr. Samantha Dannehy

Dr. Dannehy's Bio

Dr. Samantha Dannehy grew up in Marengo, Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Monmouth College where she double majored in biochemistry and chemistry. Dr. Sam then continued straight into veterinary school and graduated in 2017 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sam is passionate about preventative care and strengthening the human-pet bond. When not at work, Dr. Sam can be found snuggling on the couch with her two crazy dogs Koa and Cider, her goofy cat Clover, and her husband. Dr. Sam also shares her home with a guinea pig named Piggy and a Red Eared Slider turtle named Slider.
